Being the chair of Police Lines School and College, Rangpur I feel absolutely delighted to learn that the institution is going to launch its website www.plscr.edu.bd on 04-07-2011 aiming at fulfilling its long cherished mission to be connected to the Internet.
Since the inception of the institution in 1986, it has been marching on with its full momentum and trying to keep pace with modern science and technology even though it is located in a remote town about 350 km. away from the capital city of Bangladesh. In an age of globalization, we all know, the countries of the world are like neighbors in a village. That is, we are now living in a global village. And this has been possible only for the IT. Taking the opportunities of IT police Lines School and College, Rangpur is now under the E-network, no doubt.
I express my felicities thinking the fact that police Lines School and College, Rangpur have plunged into the world of Internet that will enable not only the teachers and employees but also the students to know manifold pieces of information from different parts of the world. It will undoubtedly make the students competent for the present world. In other word, browsing on the Internet students will be able to enter into renowned as well as enriched libraries, learn up to date discoveries and gather the latest information sitting in their class room. The whole world is now at the hand of the members of PLSCR family.
I also render my heartiest felicitation to the institution along with those who have contributed a lot to build up a lofty structure, a modern computer Lab and a congenial atmosphere for moving around on the web.
People staying in different corners of the world will get a chance to know about the institution on this website and bridge a relationship between them. It is a boon of science and the result of concerted efforts of the governing body of the institution together with the concerned people of this region.
